Apollo is one of Australia's most famous maxi yachts, winner of the Sydney to Hobart, South china sea series, Kenwood cup, Around Hawaii Island race and every major race held on the East Coast of Australia. |
Designed by the late Ben Lexcen who also designed the winner of the 1983 Amercas Cup. Fully refitted for charter work in 1998 and again in late 2004, Apollo is a great way to see the Whitsundays with a fast ride at the same time. |
Now retired, Apollo carries a maximum of 26 passengers and 4 crew for awesome sailing adventures. |

Entry and Administration Fees: Please note there is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. Fees are charged by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife for entry into the marine and national parks and the overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs and are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of updating A total fee of $39 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association for a 3 day 2 night cruise to cover costs and includes EMC of $4.50 per day, Commercial Activity Permit Fee of $1.35 per day, Administration Fees of $3.77 per day plus gst. There is a 2.5% surcharge for credit card purchases. Wet suits are availible for hire. |
