The Whitsundays are known to be the Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. There is no better way to explore the fringing reef systems that surround the islands, or to get to the outer reef than on a holiday afloat.
To take your first dive in our planet's largest living aquatic playground is to fall in love with this sport forever. To enter the deep blue water is to enter another world, the thrill does not change from your first dive to your last.
The Great Barrier Reef marine park offers a huge array of diverse coral and fish species in their natural environment, an aquatic realm to be shared and explored.
Diving is a sport that can be safely experienced for the first time in the Whitsundays, with the onboard qualified dive instructors to instruct you and guide you on a resort dive.
Certified scuba divers will also find plenty of excitement, exploring the fringing coral reef systems around the islands and the outer reef, with our highly qualified crew, well maintained equipment and vessels to take you there in comfort and safety.

Entry and Administration Fees: Please note there is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs. Fees are charged by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife for entry into the marine and national parks and the overall fee includes these costs and our administration costs and are subject to change and are payable at check in. At the time of updating A total fee of $39 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association for a 3 day 2 night cruise to cover costs and includes EMC of $4.50 per day, Commercial Activity Permit Fee of $1.35 per day, Administration Fees of $3.77 per day plus gst. There is also a $4.00 Fuel levy pp, There is a 2.5% surcharge for credit card purchases. Wet suits are availible for hire. |

Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of our clients which are beyond our control. Client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the sailing holiday. We recommend that you have travel insurance. All Cancellations forfeit all deposits. If full payment has been made then the deposit amount will be 50% of payments received. The free dive is only valid for travel on board Pacific Star in the month of June. The dive price special is also only valid for the month of June 2006. All diving is based on a medical questionnaire. |
