Description:

New Horizon enjoys a reputation of a great valued, fun trip! Suited for just about everybody. Boasting a huge deck space, and gorgeous wooden construction, she sails the Whitsunday Islands for 2 days and 2 nights exploring bays, beaches, and giving you the opportunity to dive and snorkel the sites along the way. Then sit back and watch the sunset over the waters of the amazing Whitsunday Islands

New Horizon offers the experience of big boat sailing at a budget price. Touring the Whitsundays Islands is an experience not to be missed. New Horizon is a lovely wooden Tall ship, in fact she is one of the last solid timber boats of her type left around. Built in Tasmania with Tasmanian hard wood, New Horizon has beautiful features, you can see the hard work which has been put into her, she even has a human size figurehead. She is very spacious and has a lovely wooden galley with a big half-round table for entertainment.

New Horizon will take you and 31 other guests to visit the best Snorkel and diving locations in the Whitsunday Islands, like Blue Pearl Bay of Hayman Island, Luncheon Bay of Hook Island and Bali Hai. There you will see some of the best coral and fish in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Explore coral drop-off's, swim throughs and bommies. If your one of the lucky ones you might even see Dolphins, whales, manta rays and turtles, which are all common at different times of the year.

What is provided:

Extra Charges:

There is an additional charge E.M.C which includes entry to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park charged at $13.50 per trip. Entry to National Park charged at $1.50 per visit. Marina Fees charged at $5.00 per trip, Oil levy charged at $10.00 per trip. Administration fees of $10.00 per trip. Total of $40 per person/per trip. This can change without notice.Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees. There is a 2.5% surcharge for credit card purchases. Stinger Suits are available for hire @ 15:00 pp and Scuba Dives from $55.00 per dive

Cancellations within 21 days will forfeit full cost of sailing/dive course price, if a dive medical can not be passed then a refund for the dive course only will be available. You must have a dive medical before you start the course. No refund will be given once you start a course. All departures and itineraries are subject to weather and may be changed or cancelled at the discretion of Tallarook Sail and Dive. It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of clients which are beyond our control. We recommend that you have travel insurance. All cancellations forfeit all deposit. Bookings and Availability:

If you are booking more than one month in advance, it is most likely that there will be availability. We don't process payment* until the booking is confirmed; therefore it is safe to make a booking for sailings more than a month in advance without checking availability. In the unlikely event that the vessel is full or has been stood down we will contact you with alternatives.

Make Booking Check Availability

Deposit amounts will not be processed until a booking has been confirmed with the tour operator. The tour administration will usually process the balance a day or two later. Deposit amounts are non-refundable after a booking has been confirmed and the balance is non-refundable within the period stated in the Terms and conditions above. We recommend booking 30 days in advance to ensure availability of your accommodation or tour of choice. All departures and itineraries are subject to weather and may be changed or cancelled at the discretion of the tour operator although this is uncommon. Operators reserve the right to cancel tours should the need arise. Should a tour operator cancel a tour for any reason, an alternative tour is usually offered of a similar type. It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of clients or tour operators which are beyond our control.
