Description:

The latest addition is a magnificent vessel styled after the famous ship in which Joshua Slocum achieved the first solo circumnavigation of the globe in 1898.

The Alexander Stewart was hand built over 17 years by three generations of the one family and is said to be the largest cold-moulded timber hull in the southern hemisphere.

The main feature of this 65ft ketch is the 9 private cabins that will accomodate 18 passengers in style and comfort.

All departures and itineraries are subject to weather and may be changed or cancelled at the discretion of Oz Adventure Sailing. It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of our clients which are beyond our control. Client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the sailing holiday. We recommend that you have travel insurance. All Cancellations forfeit all deposits. If full payment has been made then the deposit amount will be 50% of payments received. Client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the sailing holiday. We recommend that you have travel insurance. Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees. There is a 2.5% surcharge for credit card purchases.

Bookings and Availability:

If you are booking more than one month in advance, it is most likely that there will be availability. We don't process payment* until the booking is confirmed; therefore it is safe to make a booking for sailings more than a month in advance without checking availability. In the unlikely event that the vessel is full or has been stood down we will contact you with alternatives.

Make Booking Check Availability

Deposit amounts will not be processed until a booking has been confirmed with the tour operator. The tour administration will usually process the balance a day or two later. Deposit amounts are non-refundable after a booking has been confirmed and the balance is non-refundable within the period stated in the Terms and conditions above. We recommend booking 30 days in advance to ensure availability of your accommodation or tour of choice. All departures and itineraries are subject to weather and may be changed or cancelled at the discretion of the tour operator although this is uncommon. Operators reserve the right to cancel tours should the need arise. Should a tour operator cancel a tour for any reason, an alternative tour is usually offered of a similar type.
