Avatar is a 67ft ocean racing trimaran primarily built for speed, but also offers comfortable and spacious accommodation both above and below decks.
Breathtaking in size, this racing thoroughbred will carry her passengers leisurely around the islands for three full days and two nights. She is kept in full racing trim to compete in at least two major yacht races annually. |
Whilst Avatar exceeds her rivals in speed, her design ensures she has minimal lean in all types of sea, maximising guest comfort and safety at all times. As a result, she is one of the few boats in the region that allow passengers to lounge on deck or move about freely whilst under full sail.

All prices are inclusive of crew, food, linen (except towels) and snorkelling gear (masks, fins and snorkels).

There is a fee levied on all passengers to cover park entry fees and administration costs.
The great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife charge fees for entry into the Marine and National Parks. The overall fee includes these costs and OzSails administration costs. These fees are subject to change and are payable at check in.
At the of printing a total fee of $13 per full day is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat industry Association to cover these costs and includes
EMC of $4.50 per day,
Commerical Activity Permit Fee Of $1.30 per day,
Administration Fees Of $2.95 per day
plus GST.
In addition to the Marine Park fee, other charges which passengers will be requirer to pay on check-in include There is also a Fuel levy of $4.00 pp. credit card transaction fee 2.5%, diving and stinger suits. These additional charges are payable to OZ Adventure Sailing. |
