Next morning the skipper had us up early (7am) and Rod (our decky) had breakfast served on the aft lounging area. The day was another perfect day, warm and sunny and very calm.
Almost all of the local fish at Mantaray Bay came to visit the boat in the morning and they were calling us in for a snorkel. So it's on with masks and snorkels and right into the reef. There were so many fish here it's hard to describe and the pictures never seem to show them all.
After that mind blowing snorkel. We relaxed aboard for another cruise down to Whitehaven Beach. What can you say about this beach in weather like this. Just perfect ! We spent a couple of hours relaxing here, then off after lunch for some more snorkelling at another site.
This site was Dumbell Island and the fish and coral here were just as good as Mantaray Bay. Huge colourfull corals and heaps of friendly fish made this a favourite Whitsundays snorkelling spot. But we were the only boat and had it all to ourselves.
After this, another afternoon cruise through Hook Passage and into Cid Harbour for a calm night of relaxing in the on-deck spa!
