Type Our Tours
Region Whitsundays

Brief Description:
Power Play left from Abel Point Marina, Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays, Queensland, Great Barrier Reef, Australia. We boarded the ship at around 1:00pm.

Detailed Description:
We met our crew - Rod the decky and Craig the Skipper and Craig gave us a quick chat about safety on board the ship. After that it was out into the sea. Rod gave us more information as we drove out of the harbour into the windy Whitsunday Passage. It was a bit rough for the first hour or so until we got into the shelter of the islands but was worth it because the first thing we did was go diving at Caves Cove on Hook Island! Most of us had never dived before, but the diving crew gave us instruction on the beach for a while, then geared us up and next thing you know we were breathing underwater and chasing fish with the instructor trying to keep up.

History:
The diving pretty much filled up the afternoon, but we had a short sunset cruise to a very calm, but windy anchorage at Butterfly Bay on Hook Island.
