Joes beach, found in Cid Harbour, is one of the smallest and most picturesque beaches in the Whitsundays. Although it is possible to anchor a small vessel that has shallow draught off the beach, it is not a place for your average keel boat. You'll also find a truly beautiful caping location here and to top it all off, it is rarely visited. So peace and quiet on a perfect small beach is this beaches best qualities.
Joe's Beach
in the 1970's it is reported that a man named 'Joe' often camped and visited this place and the name kind of stuck. It wouldn't suprise me if this story is true.
